Ugh, I kept typing cities instead of countries. I missed quite a few doing that. I need more sleep... Great quiz!

A few of these, it's hard to figure out what you're looking at, like #38, but I think it's unavoidable when you're having to make the pics this small. Good quiz.

Once I got all those I knew, I typed in Kyrgyzstan for every other remaining clue I didn't get, figuring it had to be on there... sadly, failed. :(

a feature should be enabled that will allow the player to click on an image instead of having to click on the boxes then scroll back up.

I live in Denmark, and would never expect over 50% to recoignize us by the little mermaid. It is the most boring monument ever. "little" is in the name! Anyways great quiz and i have seen all the european monuments in this quiz! And some of the african :)

The pictures should really show up bigger by the answer box because these thumbnails are kind of hard to make out a lot of the time.

From the thumbnail - maybe. But there is a difference in architecture when you see them for real. Also there's the statue of Alexander, and the whole Senaatintori view is iconic for Helsinki. A little bit like the CN tower could be any communications tower, as they do look somewhat similar, but are not really the same.

@Chrisg92: There's more to China than just the great wall, you know. This factory is actually one gate to a factory area called "Forbidden City".

I kept looking at one picture thinking "but there's nothing there? Why would I be able to identify a vacant mountain wall?" Then I saw the answer was Afghanistan and pretty much had to fight to keep from crying.

My strategy on these quizzes: Go through and answer the ones I know. Then go back through the ones I skipped and try "Kyrgyzstan" for each of them.

With regards to the comments about there being nothing there for Afghanistan, that's a product of the thumbnail size image. There actually appears to be a large statue in the niche, with an arm visible. That does mean that the picture has to be pre 2001 though, as if that is the Bhudda of Bamiyan, then it was dynamited by the Taliban in 2001.

Had to fight to not type in city names when I knew them, and for the PetroNas Towers, I couldn't for the life of me recall what country Kuala Lumpur was in. Face palm.... Great quiz, tho I wish there was a way to enlarge the pictures.

@Rickin: It's not sporcle convention, sorry. @Speedy: It's called Ryugyong Hotel, and the idea behind it is the most hilarious of any landmark.

RickinHK: United States of America is not the same thing as America, therefore should and will not be accepted. If that was allowed, it should also be the answer to Canada, Mexico, Peru, Brazil et cetera.
