| Not bad - a pretty good mix. I'd add Piazza San Marco (or San Marco's) for St. Mark's square in Venice. Almost caught me on that one.
And Duomo for the Florence Cathedral. While it does, in a very general sense, only mean Cathedral when you say "Duomo" most people automatically think of Florence. I'm in Art History and we've never referred to it as anything but the Duomo. It's like White House. If you wanna be literal it means 'white house'. But, really, most people think of the same place when they here it.
The vatican doesn't have enough 'landmarks' to warrant its own quiz so I don't mind it being put in with the other purely Italian stuff. Not a big dealio to me. |
