What do you think? Did I pick the right landmarks to use in the cities? Was there another city with a landmark more recognizable than the ones I chose?

Too many cathedrals that all look similar! Try the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen or the 'red light district' in Amsterdam.

The little mermaid statue would have been great! I wanted to use it but unfortunately there are no wikimedia images of it because it is a "copyright" statue. I limited myself to using wikimedia's images.

Great quiz - I agree probably too many churches. Why not one of the Ringstrasse buildings or Schonbrunn for Vienna? Or maybe the Rathaus-Glockenspiel/New Town Hall for Munich? I also think the Eiffel Tower is a bit obvious and dull for Paris - there's tons of other well known monuments to choose from.

Great quiz. I believe it's a bit counterintuitive to number by columns instead of rows though. (For most users, that is.)

I agree with Mayan that the numbers should be by rows than columns, but otherwise great quiz.

I can't see the pictures fully from 21-25 on my computer. How do I change that?

@Billymumphrey Those photos are iconic enough that you should definitely know them from elsewhere. But the attention put into the architecture in AC2 was fantastic, and I say that as an art historian.

*slaps self* I was in Amsterdam just a week ago and stayed right oppposite the Rijksmuseum, but it is currently covered in scaffolding so I had no idea that's what it's supposed to looked like!

Love these quizzes, jonesjeffum. I can practically sit in front of them and put together my post-retirement travel plans.(Unfortunately, I have another 20+ years to go to get to them!)

Shouldn't have to guess in order.

And if you disagree, both "City Skylines" quizzes didn't have to be guessed in order. So I see no good reason this one should.

If you don't have to guess in order, the quiz becomes "Name as many European cities as you can in 7 minutes." Not exactly a challenge.

The reason is actually pretty simply, MovieDynamic. Setting picture quizzes to guess in order places the picture that you're on at the top of the quiz right next to the answer blank. This means the images can be large enough to view easily with out having to scroll up and down repeatedly. It saves your eyes and your fingers.

Great quiz! One small quibble: The Charles River Bridge is a much more iconic image of Prague and aslo would add variety to the pictures with one fewer cathedral.

I feel really sorry for non Europeans when I remember they can't get to any of these places for less than $50 and within 2 hours. Just thought I'd make you all incredibly jealous.

Might I suggest the Palace of Culture and Science for Warsaw instead as Poland's primary/most famous Royal Castle is the Krakow Wawel?

Great quiz - I like the fact that native names for the cities are accepted as well (Roma for Rome, Moskva for Moscow, etc.), except for some reason Praha isn't accepted for Prague...

Good quiz--actually, I liked that these were not just the iconic images. I've been to Brussels, for example, but didn't get it from picture, unlike, say, if you'd used the Grand Place or the Mannequin Pis. More challenging=well done!
