Technically, the Missouri flows into the Mississippi about 10 miles north of St. Louis. However, St. Louis is the major city nearby, so I guess it could be considered a correct answer.

I am from the midwest but those were just the cities that had river confluences... if you could give be some others to put on i would be happy

Some more possible ones: White Oak and Buffalo Bayous - Houston, Salt and Gila - Phoenix, or Hudson and East - New York.

You should specify Wilmington, DE since Wilmington, NC is a larger city.
