Why is the Jerusalem picture a mosque. I know it is the Dome of the Rock, but I think to be fair to the conflict and that Jerusalem SHOULD be part of Israel and Palestine, a good picture would be one with the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock, it's really cool.

Unless you force people to answer in order, this is nothing more than name all the big cities in Asia that you can think of.

I agree, make it in order. I got 20 without looking.

I got them all except Kuwait City - I actually typed Kuwait but it wasn't accepted and I assumed it would be so I moved on. Regardless - I didn't know many of them, just typed cities in Asia. Having to answer in order would probably be best.

@Zwach2 - seriously? This is Sporcle, not CNN. It's a picture, not a political statement.

I thought that was a Russian flag in the picture of Manila, so I was on completely the wrong track. Not that I can come up with many Russian cities either.

@Rachelkachel: Exact same here. "Let's see, Asian cities in Russia. Novosibirsk? Dang. Yekaterinburg? Dang. Vladivostok? Dang. Khaborovsk? Dang. I only know four Asian cities in Russia? Dang."

@mneh Mine were Vladivostok, Yakutsk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Tomsk, and Samara. Should have remembered Novosibirsk as well though.

Should be guessed in order, like in similar quiz on Europe. I only knew a handful of these photos and yet I got 23 correct just by guessing Asian cities.

Please accept Kuwait. The city is not called Kuwait City. The country is named after the city not vice versa. This is why it is the least guessed answer. It is a bit like only accepting New York City for New York. Otherwise a very well constructed quiz.

How could I forget Seoul?? Though I'll agree with some of the above commenters, I only got as many as I did because I named all the big cities I could think of. I only really knew about 5 of the pictures. Which is a shame, but anyway...

I really loved seeing a Baha'i structure represented in this quiz (the Lotus Temple in Delhi). And actually there are 2 Baha'i-related structures if you count the Azadi tower whose architect is a Baha'i.

I can't believe I missed Ryugyong Hotel. I mean, I haven't stayed there or anything, but it's just so unforgettably ugly and Stalinist.

You could do an entire (though Sporcle-y impossible) series of the crazy/cool named buildings of Astana in Kazakhstan. (Their President plays a real-life Sim City it seems.)

hi, I'm trying to make a picture quiz. I have the picture, but how do I make it so there aren't any columns? Like this one where you just type in the names at the top?

It took me forever to realize we were naming the cities, not the landmarks. I guess it's important to read instructions, duh. I typed Forbidden Temple, Forbidden City, Shwedagon Paya, Petronas Towers, before I realized my silly mistake. Ah well. P.s., that would be an awesome quiz too!

Why not use the Burj Khalifa for Dubai? It is the world's tallest building, after all.
