Hunh, all this time I thought San Ysidro was a separate city from San Diego.

It's pretty crazy if you look at the narrow strips of city limits running down the middle of San Diego Bay. There's just a tiny thread of San Diego city territory connecting San Ysidro with the rest of San Diego's territory.
