| @KansasJayhawk: I shouldn't have to know every nook and cranny of local geography for 300 cities to figure out if a letter to the station's office goes downtown or to one of a dozen suburbs located a mile away. What this quiz is telling me is that, for example, Philadelphia (one of the five largest cities in the U.S.) doesn't have an NBC or ABC affiliate. However, the neighboring suburb of Bala Cynwyd (population 9,300 — probably the same number of people outside the Philly area who have heard of it) has both an NBC affiliate and an ABC affiliate, as well as 17 radio stations, perhaps making it one of the largest media markets per capita in the country. It's a deadly flaw in the quiz. Just my $0.02. |
