You're missing The Gambia (sporcle uses the "the" in the game)

A bit too much time. Less time would make it more challenging.

really nice, simple quiz. I was wondering though - isn't cote d'ivoire the correct name for the country, rather than ivory coast? And if so, that's three words, not two...

The Gambia is it's proper name, whereas with most others, the The is not included. And it's the United States of America, so it shouldn't be included.

How about The Netherlands? In every other Sporcle-quiz it's 2 words. Fun quiz though.

If you're not using "the," then why use "El Salvador"? But if you use "The Gambia," then you should include "The Philippines" and "the Netherlands."

I missed two: Burkina Faso (for some reason, I always seem to forget it exists) and St. Lucia (thought most of the Caribbean countries had MORE than two words - yet I got the Dominican Republic.)

You should accept UK for United Kingdom, and South Sudan needs adding.
