| Type 'GO' to begin. Maybe it looks more like a bone than a wrench... |
 | Tahnan: | Aug 1st, 2011 at 07:50 GMT | | 9 points |
| Wow, that's a really nice construction. |
 | sluh138: | Aug 1st, 2011 at 13:16 GMT | | 5 points |
| @joeflint82: Great ladder. But I don't think I've ever seen "loud" used as a noun, so I'd change the clue from "excessive noise" to "excessively noisy." |
 | joeflint82: | Aug 1st, 2011 at 13:47 GMT | | 5 points |
| That change suggestion is MUSIC to my ears, thank you and change made. |

| wow, nice change from the normal word ladder. Good job. |

| Excellent quiz. It's easy, but very well-made. |
 | ostroffj: | Aug 3rd, 2011 at 21:59 GMT | | 2 points |
| I like the 0.3%-0.6% of people who deliberately messed with the stats by typing in the starting clues. Don't think I haven't spotted your handiwork! |
 | joeflint82: | Aug 4th, 2011 at 05:49 GMT | | 5 points |
| I don't doubt that the majority of the stats anomalies are due to 'messies'. I also wouldn't be surprised to learn that some people haven't read the instructions, and instead of typing 'GO', have started guessing random 4-letter words and got lucky. :) |
 | D00M_M0USE: | Aug 14th, 2011 at 19:01 GMT | | -4 points |
| No they haven't, you fool. They have done the quiz once and know the starting words. Sorry for calling you a fool earlier, I lost my temper. |

| I just paused this game because I could, not because I needed to :) |
 | johnspartan4187: | Oct 1st, 2011 at 10:34 GMT | | 9 points |
| That pause button will provide a lot of people with the tempatation to cheat, especially when they get mind block. Dunno is it a good idea. Why would you need to pause a short quiz anyway? Maybe the long ones, but still. |
 | abraves10001: | Oct 1st, 2011 at 11:01 GMT | | 1 point |
| Pause function seems useless for a 2 minute game. I feel like I can delay important conversations, phone calls or things burning on the stove for two minutes without the necessity to pause, overall should be a useful function! |

| Now I can pause the quiz and take as long as I want to look up the answers via Google! Actually, I tried it and it pauses fine, but no amount of clicking the "resume" button will restart the game. |

| Oh mah golly pause!!!!! |
 | backwardation: | Oct 1st, 2011 at 13:20 GMT | | 13 points |
| Um, I predict that scores on quizzes are suddenly going to get a lot better... |

| I am impressed. As a result of my earlier comment, I received an email from Sporcle administration asking for more information on the failure of the resume button. I did some testing, and it is caused by AdBlock Plus. |

| I blanked out after typing 'GO' and couldn't think of what to type. Luckily, I had Rule of Word Ladder, always type 'lore'. |

| Read femur, but could only think of lemur. Never knew that lune was a shape. I always thought it was just another name for moon. |

| Fun new version of the Word Ladder. Love the pause button, too. It really came in handy when I had a 5-minute sneeze attack during the middle of this quiz. |

 | shakescene: | Oct 3rd, 2011 at 06:02 GMT | | 0 points |
Maybe you should let the British users know that in this csse "wrench" means "spanner". Then they might grasp the visual resemblance more readily.
(Didn't mean to throw a spanner in the works. Just a monkey-wrench. ;-) ) |

@DTF_YEBOII: Thank you for the constructive criticism, I'll certainly keep that in mind for future quizzes.
