	Thanks for catching that buttscounty! Typo on my part. Thanks for the editor pick rockgolf! :) I reduced the artist field 5%. I'd recommend people to have a look around the source, it's a really interesting website. I'll have the song/author/sample quizzes up soon.

	Clearly this doesn't cover American Idol, where the cover count on some songs feels like it far exceeds the numbers here.

	I was surprised to see Depeche Mode too. It seems that a lot of their songs have been covered at least 2 or 3 times, which adds up. 	@joebobs & Golden: Actually you don't have to worry about "&" in answers. Sporcle strips out occurance of the words "a", "the", "and" or "&" in both the answer on the board and what you type in before checking for a match. As far as Sporcle's concerned, "The Mamas and Papas" can be entered as "mamaspapas" and it will be accepted.

	@bmo1616: Actually, Jacko's not been covered that many times. Billie Jean is his most covered, with 16 covers. Beat It is second with 14. I think with some songs, the original can be so famous and so recognisable that it's difficult for others to cover it (Thriller has only been covered 5 times). @ rockgolf: Ah right, I knew it worked without 'the' and 'and', I didn't know about &.

	Thanks again @joebobs. I still find the source a little bit suspect, though. A lot depends on who gets credit for being the original artist -- e.g., I was sure the 307/1 song was "Summertime", but all my guesses were to no avail. (To be honest I don't think I've ever heard of Helen Jepson.) Where did CCR and Buddy Holly rank?

	NO.Didn't get that quiz one bit at all to be perfectly honest with you I don't know why I just played this and why I am currently commenting and yet still typing your other quizzes that I played were miles better such as the backwards continent countries things were way better and anyway I'm probably years too young to know any or most of these people here this would have been a good quiz for my Grandad or Nan or something like that.
