I've always heard a recluse called a "brown recluse." You should probably accept it.

Me too...I only got 'brown recluse' and 'black widow', although I did put 'trantula', but to no avail. :/

the Australian huntsman may be big and scary-looking, but it's nowhere near the most deadly. The funnel-web (proper name actually the Sydney funnel-web) has a few varieties, all evil - the tree funnel-web especially so. And the red-back is missing (related to the black widow, but more venomous).

purr_verse is correct. I would never let a huntsman crawl on me, they are not poisonous. Their bite is much like a mosquito bite and won't cause any harm.

As I live right in the heart of Brown Recluse country and right now happens to be the time when their eggs are a-hatchin'—in addition to the frick'n Black Widow and scorpion eggs—I hate arachnids with a PASSION. A good test, this — just to remind us all to stay alert. Five stars. (But the Brazilian Wandering, or "Banana Spider"—http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_wandering_spider—is not indigenous to Australia. That part of your quiz is very misleading.)
