Sorry about Troy. They were included because they are currently FBS, however they had all of their 10 win seasons prior to reclassification to Division 1-A. Because of this they have been removed.

Boise State has also been moved down to 24th because they have only had 10 'Ten win seasons' since their own reclassification in '96.

I'm very happy that ASU is here. Since I go there I always start with Pac-12 teams and they were the first team I got. Go Sun Devils

Just a comment, this is skewed towards more recent successful teams because of the longer season. 12 game regular season + possible conf championship game + bowl game makes for more teams than the 9/10/11 game season, with fewer bowl games to boot.

Thought the 2nd team with 15 would have more and the team with 14 would have less.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's SKEWED towards them, because a ten win season is a ten win season. Saying that it's skewed would imply, in my opinion, that we're attempting to draw some type of conclusion from this, and some factor is unfairly benefiting some teams over others. Instead, these are just plain facts with no interpretation attached. Just my $0.02. I do see what you're saying, though.

LSU won 10 or more games in 1908, 1958, 1961, 1987, 1996, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011. That's 12 seasons. Poorly researched quiz. Also, for some reason, it randomly refuses to accept answers that are correct and on the list.

I find it very hard to believe that LSU is not on this list.

Yeah, I guess when I made this quiz a year ago I just missed LSU when I was going through the source list. They have been added and the "Rank" and "# of Seasons" columns have been updated to reflect the most recent season's results.

@PassingBy: I fixed the first issue but I have no idea why it wouldn't be accepting answers. I added an alternate or two, bu that was the only thing I found that could have been a problem.

@hollaback, no, it IS skewed, because winning 10 out of 13 or 14 is easier than 10 out of 10 or 11 or 12. It's a fact that FAR more teams are winning 10 games in a season than in the past. There's no judgement here, it is factually skewed toward recent years.

Like I said, pita, I see what you guys mean, but I wouldn't necessarily use that word to describe the situation...just IMO.
