	You need to address the Alaska issue. Technically it is the easternmost state since some of the Aleutian Islands are on the other side of the 180th line of longitude. I'd write in your notes "Easternmost means closest to the Greenwich." What does the numbering indicate. I presumed it was the order of easternmostness - but apparently not.

	Yes, what about Alaska, and it's this the easternmost tip of a state or the entire (westernmost) tip of the state? And since you need an extra column, why not put them in order of eastern-ness, maybe by latitude?

	Sorry, I'm not American so I don't know about the latitude and longitude of US States. For easterness: 1. Alaska, 2. Maine then Massachusetts??

	Easternpoint. Which is the order I just sorted them in. I just looked at a map of US States to see which was is more eastern.

	Of course I know this is an American website, which is why I fail in most US based quizzes (except US Presidents). After all, I only learnt the 50 US States from memory less than a month ago...

	@jkl87 - it's because you sound like a typical non-American complaining about all the American quizzes on this website, even though it's an American website. It would be like an American traveling to Europe and complaining there are too many soccer stadiums. Both, are just as annoying.

	Well it depends on one's individual perspective. I sound like a typical non American because I am a non-American. In debates such as these, neither of us can be 'right' because our arguments about the number of US based quizzes are merely our opinions. Now I don't want to get too off-topic from the original theme of this quiz

	Oximator: I used to get confused between East and West as well. I'm also stupid because when I first tried typing 'Oximator', I actually typed 'Oklahoma' instead.

	jkl87, again, not surprising considering that this is a U.S. based and English language site. I am sure your German Lander quiz would get more plays that a U.S. State quiz if it was on a German based and German language site. Seriously, you needed to conduct an "experiment" to figure that out?

	Moving back to the subject of this quiz .... Can you increase the amount of time on here. A general guideline for MINES quizzes is to give surplus time since the point of the quiz is to go until you get one wrong.

	1. totally gives it away, and the Aleutian Island issue is not an issue, its a fact. The Aleutian Islands cross the International Dateline making it part of the Eastern Hemisphere, ergo, Alaska is the easternmost state. Maine is nowhere near being part of the Eastern Hemisphere, or the most eastern state. Alaska is.

	you should also give the number of most eastern with wrong answers. )like in published games, say the quiz was 10 most populous countries and you typed in mexico, it would set off a mine and say Mexico [11]) Plus you have no links and no proof these are actually the 26 easternmost US states
