If Timor-Leste counts, shouldn't the Ivory Coast count? Or is that part of another country?

Timor-Leste only counts as a bonus, as does Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

@eiredublin0598: Just because something isn't original doesn't mean it isn't any good. I also noticed you have not contributed any games yourself. So perhaps you should stop complaining and go create an original quiz (which by the way, doesn't automatically make it a good quiz).

People should search before they create a quiz, however, if they think they can do a quiz better, great. This quiz was done perfectly, nice layout, good decision on Cote d'Ivoire and Timor Leste as bonuses, well put together.

Good quiz, but it doesn't need a full 6 minutes. Four should suffice I believe

I like that they weren't listed alphabetically. It made it more challenging.

Are you using Cote d'ivoire for Ivory Coast? Otherwise you might want to add that one....depending on the person and what they call it.

I think 6 minutes is good, I missed a few but i had just about the right amount of time. Cote D'Ivoire is the name used on Sporcle, on many quizzes it also accepts Ivory Coast but the French name is the standard, I suppose it could be a bonus along with East Timor.

I have a quiz just like this, except in blitz form. http://www.sporcle.com/games/trick39berry/a_e_i_o_u_and_sometimes_y_ @jimmyrickards did contribute this before I contributed mine, so it is fair that his got published first. Good job!

It's interesting to see how certain continents dominate certain letters, 4/7 E countries are in Africa, every I country is in either Asia or Europe, and all of those O countries are in Asia too. Nice quiz.

Ivory coast should be in this, it should all be in same language... i would never say cote divoire for ivory coast, its not like were saying the spanish name for spain which would be espana!!!!

@fenwicky: it is not at all like calling Spain EspaƱa. Cote d'Ivoire has REFUSED to have their name translated in any other language, REFUSED. It is wrong to call the country Ivory Coast because it is not what they have requested. The country is known as Cote d'Ivoire to every country in the world, not Ivory Coast or Costa de Marfil or Costa d'Avorio, etc. just Cote d'Ivoire.

@british: Cote d'Ivoire are called Khof Hashenhav in Hebrew (direct translation). I'm guessing that's true for all/most languages that don't use Latin Script, in which the french origin can't be kept anyway.
