| no. not new york nicks. also, miami marlins as a bonus? since theyre gonna change it in like two years? |
 | Antithesys: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 04:50 GMT | | 10 points |
| Another bonus might be those crazy Angels of Anaheim. |
 | bluedevilwrshpr: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 06:06 GMT | | 2 points |
| New Jersey is not a city, if it is to be included the title should be changed to geographic location rather than city. |
 | PeterStorm: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 06:29 GMT | | 15 points |
| Bluedevil, really? I see your point but c'mon...it's pretty obvious what the quiz is about. Some people are so nit-picky. |
 | reicherm: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 06:40 GMT | | 6 points |
| anaheim angels as bonus |

 | uconngary7: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 12:16 GMT | | 13 points |
| maybe put seattle supersonics as a bonus? fun quiz! |
 | thelargeone: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 13:08 GMT | | 5 points |
| I would suggest calling the quiz "Alliterative Team Names" |
 | hsox05: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 13:24 GMT | | 2 points |
| Beat me to it largeone. That would solve the "city vs state" problem |
 | hsox05: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 13:27 GMT | | 17 points |
| Of course, calling it Alliterative Team Names would rule out a couple of these. Chicago Cubs and San Jose Sharks start with the same letter, but are not example of alliteration. |

| I'm a fan of the bonuses. Good work! |

| Tennessee is not a city. Neither is New Jersey. The Titans play in Nashville and the Nets play in East Rutherford. |
 | HollywoodLeo: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 16:46 GMT | | -3 points |
| Why are people down arrowing people making correct statements? (That the state names are not cities) I'm sure they understand what the quiz is looking for, but the quiz description is still wrong. |
Comment below threshold: show it | HollywoodLeo: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 16:47 GMT | | -5 points |
| Also, the quiz should accept Cavs for the Cavaliers. |
 | mulv: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 16:53 GMT | | 12 points |
| regardless of the state vs. city argument, it's a really cool idea for a quiz, pretty challenging too |
 | JayHankEdLyon: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 17:39 GMT | | 5 points |
| Alliteration means no "chicago cubs" and such. Still, I'd agree that the name really should be changed. Team and region? |
 | sevorak: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 17:59 GMT | | 5 points |
| Nice bonus with the "Phlyers"! |
 | jimmyrickards: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 21:31 GMT | | 7 points |
| Okay so I added "geographic region" to the in-game title/question. It won't fit in the normal title. Sorry to those who couldn't bear to see the error. I sure hope you didn't try to enter "Miami Gardens Marlins" as I would just feel awful... |
 | shawnoc: | Oct 28th, 2009 at 23:29 GMT | | 3 points |
| I think that Angels should be a correct answer, not just a bonus. They play in Anaheim and Anaheim is in their name.
Also, the Nets have disowned the state of NJ, so I don't care if you drop them from the quiz or change the answer to NYC Nets. |
 | dogg: | Oct 29th, 2009 at 03:15 GMT | | -4 points |
| sonics should be a bonus yo |
 | jimmyrickards: | Oct 29th, 2009 at 05:26 GMT | | 9 points |
| Naw, not gonna do Supersonics. They aren't any different than any other former name, eg. Boston Braves. |

| why are the knicks in a question mark? |
 | barnztormre: | Dec 26th, 2012 at 20:37 GMT | | 9 points |
| Because N and K are different letters, even though the K in Knicks is silent. |
