Another bonus might be those crazy Angels of Anaheim.

New Jersey is not a city, if it is to be included the title should be changed to geographic location rather than city.

Bluedevil, really? I see your point but c'mon...it's pretty obvious what the quiz is about. Some people are so nit-picky.

I would suggest calling the quiz "Alliterative Team Names"

Beat me to it largeone. That would solve the "city vs state" problem

Of course, calling it Alliterative Team Names would rule out a couple of these. Chicago Cubs and San Jose Sharks start with the same letter, but are not example of alliteration.

Tennessee is not a city. Neither is New Jersey. The Titans play in Nashville and the Nets play in East Rutherford.

Why are people down arrowing people making correct statements? (That the state names are not cities) I'm sure they understand what the quiz is looking for, but the quiz description is still wrong.

Also, the quiz should accept Cavs for the Cavaliers.

regardless of the state vs. city argument, it's a really cool idea for a quiz, pretty challenging too

Alliteration means no "chicago cubs" and such. Still, I'd agree that the name really should be changed. Team and region?

Okay so I added "geographic region" to the in-game title/question. It won't fit in the normal title. Sorry to those who couldn't bear to see the error. I sure hope you didn't try to enter "Miami Gardens Marlins" as I would just feel awful...

I think that Angels should be a correct answer, not just a bonus. They play in Anaheim and Anaheim is in their name. Also, the Nets have disowned the state of NJ, so I don't care if you drop them from the quiz or change the answer to NYC Nets.

Naw, not gonna do Supersonics. They aren't any different than any other former name, eg. Boston Braves.
