| I for one would LOVE to know how Somalia didn't make the "Least Livable" list. I get that their education system is a little more established than some of the other African countries (though this is a recent development), but I can't imagine that there is any way that their life expectancy rates or adjusted real income rates would have made up for that. I get that the source is using 2004 data, but they make no attempt to provide the actual statistics of their 3 supposed criteria: life expectancy, adjusted real income, and educational attainment. All I know is that if I had to live in Africa, a failed state like Somalia would be pretty damn near the bottom of my list. |
