@hsver1887: It was a cable railway back in 1875, not a metro system as we interpret it nowadays. As your link mentioned, it was electrified in 1971. Good quiz though - forgot all about Glasgow...

I forgot about Shanghai, though I've been to Shanghai once and used that metro.
