	Couple of things... "Herb" should work. So should "Herb Melnick". Also, Charlie is the uncle, Alan is the dad...

	If Dr. Melnick, Herb Melnick, Herbert Melnick etc. wont work, it´s just stupid. Also, the colours are horrible. As tylerhen9 suggested: Alan is the DAD, while Charlie is the uncle, hence "uncle Charlie".

	Add some other recurring characters as well, like Mia, Eldridge, his mom, Gordon, the huge black guy who's Charlie's neighbor from season 6, and Melissa (Alan's former receptionist known for her catchphrase "yeppers"). @LucasE spoiler alert? :P
