The Mexican-American War is also readily referred to in history as the Mexican War; it's obvious in this context that it was a war between America and Mexico.
Provide alternatives on World War II - World War 2, WW2, WWII, etc.
And for Medina Ridge, Persian Gulf or Desert Storm or Operation Desert Storm or even less formal things like the 1st Iraq War should be accepted alternatives.
It was very difficult to figure out what you wanted. Not to mention you included (as is your right) very obscure Indian wars that most people won't know while ignoring World War I, the Spanish-American War, and better known operations like Panama or Grenada. |
