| At first I was thinking it would be better if the number of letters which crossed over were always the same, but then I decided it works well as it is as it makes it a bit harder, it forces you to think more. I liked this quiz. One point, although common knowledge dictates the Atacama is the driest place on Earth, common knowledge is wrong. The McMurdo Dry Valleys region of Antarctica is. Not only has it never rained there (in the last several million years - way longer than in the Atacama) but the winds reach such incredible speeds (the fastest on Earth) that water is instantly evaporated. It, like certain parts of the Atacama, is one of few places where you can find zero life, not even bacteria. check out the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_Valleys |
