oh, come on. you have to accept just F for Abraham's first name.

Yeah I was really on the fence there, his name is not F. but that is what he is known by, I wonder what his friends call him. Anyway, vote this comment up if you want it changed to just accept 'F', vote it down to keep things the way they are.

Fun quiz. But I would separate Voight and Wayne into two different entries. Different spellings, different names -- the 'Jon' in Jon Voight is short for 'Jonathan'. Surprising how many distinct first names there are!

I hope I'm not the only one who types in Atticus and stares at the screen confusedly before the obligatory forehead slap.

I think it might be time to go to bed...when I got to Spacey, I instinctively typed in 'Trencer'. Then the thinking part of my brain came back online.

An extra "l", an "e" instead of an "a", and a blank on Cooper, kept me from 100%

I would love some leeway on March's spelling. But the Joan Crawford bonus was almost worth it. Love the fact that we could get Abraham with just one letter; wasn't even sure there was a real name there or just a simple letter for style....

Great quiz, don't change a thing! =) Fredric is how he spelled his name, Bobman1, do you also want leeway on Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker?

Are we all confessing our incorrect guesses here? OK, here's mine: I guessed "Redd" for "Foxx" and totally forgot about Jamie. I figured it was wrong, but it was all I could think of. Still, I can only imagine how legendary that acceptance speech would've been.

Note to Whittaker, march, brody, schell, rush and others: You made my life difficult today. Consider seriously changing your name to some standardized spelling. I suggest "Bob".

@jdfulp What an excellent quiz. Stay true and only accept the correct spellings of people's names. If you cannot spell it the way the person spelled it, you shouldn't get credit. Also, I look forward to the upcoming Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actor versions you're going to make!

I'd agree the Fredric March needed to be spelled correctly.. but then why give you Nicolas Cage if you put in Nicholas??

With Oscar winning names like Bing, Denzel, Humphrey, it makes me wonder why studios encourage actors to change their names at all. Well, Marion Morrison maybe needed some work...

My most annoying miss: Cliff Robertson. A favorite actor I haven't seen in a while, so out of sight - out of Sporcle mind.

I admit I tried Booker T for Washington before I realized its Denzel.
