	harder than expected given the obscurity of most of the town names. i would suggest shaving a minute or two off the clock, as I only got maybe 10 from general knowledge, but was able to use the rest of the remaining time to systematically guess about 30 more.

	yea the obscurity, and the fact that places you would think would be hot (Hawaii) have the same high as Alaska.

	Weird. These temperatures must be a result of the humidity...they have to be because North to South is obviously incorrect.

	You're headed in the right direction. The Gulf and Atlantic Ocean can moderate the climate of a coastal location such as Rhode Island to keep it cooler than a place like Nebraska (at a similar latitude), because water heats and cools more slowly than land. Of course, these numbers reflect extreme conditions, but water can be a limiting factor.

	Right the specific heat of water is actually the number one cause of global warming, which most people don't realize. Water vapor holds that heat in the air and keeps it there over night just to heat up more the next day.
