The only suggestion I have is to make it longer than 60 seconds; I don't know anyone who can type quickly enough to get through all the books in 1 minute! (I know them all and am a pretty quick typer but only made it through one and a half columns.) But maybe that's just me. ^_~

I feel kinda ashamed that I only got 5. And they were the 5 most guessed.

@sunny1192: It's called 60-second blitz. Would it make sense to have it longer than 60 seconds? Yah, pretty much the only one who could get them all is God Himself, but I doubt anyone here expected to get them all. Lighten up and have fun.

2 Peter 3:8 says that "with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." By that measure of time, this one-minute quiz should have a time limit of 253 days. THAT should be enough time.

"1 Corinthians" takes longer to type than you might think.

Phew, glad I spelled "Ecclesiastes" right on the first try or that could have been disastrous.

One minute for so many long-titled books is tough. It kinda makes it fun though, trying to think of the books with the shortest titles to make good use of the time.

1 min. is not even close to enough time. I am a reasonably fast and accurate typist and mostly know all the books of the Bible and I only got 30 of the 66. At the very least, I had hoped all the numbered books would show up with one answer (ie. type in John and get 1 John, 2 John and 3 John filled in).

Bonnie this is a 60 SEC BLITZ. You are not supposed to get them all just as many as possible. It is quite easy to understand.

There are other bible book quizzes on Sporcle, one for New Testament books and one for Old. You get ten minutes on each of those. This is a different sort of thing altogether, frustrating for those of us who revel in finishing.

It should sort of say what version of the bible it is, because I definitely tried guessing the seven books that aren't included in the King James version.

Due to the sheer length of most of the names, is it even physically possible to do this in a minute unless you type a gazillion words a minute?

@bugsnnuts: I understand. I'm not stupid. I just think that getting all the answers on 60 second blitz should be ATTAINABLE, if difficult. I don't think it's even close to attainable.

So because it's a 60-second blitz, can you give us credit for all the Johns, Timothys, etc., in one shot? Like typing John will get you John, 1 John , 2 John, 3 John...

@sphenderson2008: Ouch. I promise to lighten up if you do. ^_~ I like this quiz, was just wondering if *anyone* could do it in 60 seconds. And since I'm a bit of a Sporcle newb, I thought my question was a legitimate one.

@sunny1192: First of all, your weird smiley face is dumb. Second of all, if you want to know if anyone can do it in 60 seconds, how about you look at the stats and *see* if anyone can do it in 60 seconds. Third of all, if you were "just wondering if *anyone* could do it in 60 seconds", why did you say that "The only suggestion [you] have is to make it longer."?

Why oh why did I think it'd be a good idea to type 1 Thessalonians? And why oh why after realizing how long it took did I follow through with 2 Thessalonians?

@sunny1192...the "lighten up" thing was more a play on your screen name than an actual suggestion. Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of Sporcle. If you look around, most of these 60-second blitz quizzes also come in a much more reasonably timed alternative. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, if that's even possible.

My constant attempts to beat this have turned this 60 second blitz into an hour long endeavor. And I still haven't managed to do any better than 26!

Wow, whoever got 51-55 respect to you! Though I doubt you went for 1 and 2 thessalonians. And whoever has gone for them, respect to you too! It takes me longer than a minute to try and remember how to spell it once, let alone twice!

Silly quiz, it's basically just a typing test. I can crank out all the books in order without hesitation, but it's pretty much impossible to type fast enough to actually finish this quiz in 60 seconds

@sphenderson2008: Thanks for the info (and the welcome, and for making me feel like less of an idiot). Will probably stay away from the 60-second blitzes from now on, or at least until my typing reaching super-human speeds! @corndog: Your comment seriously made me feel like crap. If that was your intent, consider yourself a success. Thanks.
