| As the source itself notes, given the remarkable variety of plays performed by schools each year, one would only have to be performed by a handful in order to shoot to the top of the list (Beauty and the Beast was #1 even though only 3.5% of surveyed schools reported staging it at any point during the year). With that much variety, a list like this is a bit too random. There are probably 100 plays that, had they been staged at 4 or 5 more schools as a matter of random statistical distribution, would have broken into these lists. |
