	Denominations are different from types of coins. For example, the large cent was worth 1/100 of a dollar, eg. the same as our current cent. The denominations are the same. Same for half dime, gold dollar. Further, "quarter eagle" is a coin, with a denomination of 250 cents, or 2.5 dollars. Same for the other eagles and the gold dollar.

	I took the language from the Wikipedia entry on defunct U.S. coin types. While I hear your point on the Large Cent, Half Dime and Gold Dollar, I disagree with your point on the eagle coins- quarter eagle, half eagle, eagle and double eagle were the official names of each of those individual denominations of now defunct American coins. I'll change "denomination" to "type."

	Could further break it down for the three cent coin, in that they issued both silver and nickel varieties simultaneously with different start and end dates (1851-1873 for the silver and 1865-1889 for the nickel). Also, the Trade Dollar (1873-1885) could be included.
