If you meant to make Hong Kong and Macau bonus answers, it didn't work...they're listed at the end, as regular answers.

The one that threw me for ages was Peru. Eventually guessed it, but wtf?! 1.3 MILLION Chinese in Peru? Anyone know why that's so high?

Indeed Kriz, I think I read somewhere that a lot of Chinese migrated from Macau and Guangdong to Peru in the 19th century as general labourers.

Macau's not a country...Neither is Hong Kong, but I got that one.

I know about Hong Kong and Macau, but they're not accepted on Sporcle as standard countries so I didn't guess them.

Also, who are the 3.6% of people not guessing China?

It would be interesting if you put what % of the population is Han Chinese for each country.

I didn't guess China right away. Sometimes the most obvious answers can escape you. I liken it to forgetting Russia when listing former Soviet States.

Surprised to see the Netherlands up there (no shame for the non-guessers, it was my last country and I live there). Welcome Chinese fellow earthlings!

Macau is technically part of China... why is listed as a country?

Since it does actually have a tiny bit more independence. You can critize the government and maybe get away with it.

Non-countries should be reduced to bonus status. Otherwise interesting quiz. I had Peruvian neighbours and the husband was Chinese, so that rally helped.

Nice color scheme. And even though I managed to get it, including China on this quiz is a cruel trick!

couldn't get the bonus thing to work, but I felt like keeping them anyway. I was hoping that the ?'s would prompt those answers, but If you didn't guess them I understand

To put them as bonuses, put "ee" (and only "ee") in the "Extra Info" column, and take out the question marks. If you still want to show the population of each, you could put it in parentheses after the answer.

I also didn't guess China... I assumed that the quiz wouldn't include it. Haha.

If you go to a Peruvian restaurant, you can see a lot of the Chinese influence in the food.

It's sad that the US, Japan, and Canada are more guessed than China itself....
