LicenCe to kill? (License is the verb in English). Not that I can blame this on my failure to remember all these!

"Never Say Never Again" should be a bonus answer. Oh old Sean Connery, packing your vodka in the suitcase. You sly dog!

OHMSS should be acceptable as answer for On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Got the last one (You only live twice) with 1 second left. Now that is true Bond style.

@Josh T.: Only if the reason you nearly missed the time limit involved having a beautiful woman on your arm and/or getting drunk while you should have been working.

What about the original Casino Royale, from the 60's? You know, where Woody Allen plots to unleash a germ that kills all men over 5'4'' and makes all women beautiful!

@wynne: It's not an official James Bond film. Maybe it should be a bonus answer if Never say Never again is.

But then the Austin Powers series should be bonus answers as well...

@BigThingWithHolesInIt : Austin Powers is a parody of James Bond. Never say never again was a film with all Bond traits but wasn't accepted as an official Bond film by licensers. Considering it's release date was in competition with Octopussy it doesn't surprise me.

The Bond songs help with this, plus the 3 "gold" ones. Had all the theme tunes running through my head while doing this! Can never remember the more recent ones (I don't like them as much as the older ones for some reason...) like Die another day and TND. Could OHMSS be allowed? I'm not just lazy, it is fairly commonly abbreviated to that...

I think it's interesting that the 2 newest Bond films are nearly on opposite ends of the sccale among right and wrong answers.

BenJJ: "LicenCe to kill? (License is the verb in English)" It's a noun in this case. James Bond has a licence to kill, which is temporarily revoked in the film.

Loved this one. Missed the terrible "The World is Not Enough." Just curious, are there any other bonus answers besides Never Say Never?

BenJJ: LicenCe to kill? (License is the verb in English). License with an S is verb transitive in English. The noun is spelt with a C. As the film is British I would say we've got the spelling right wouldn't you? Anyway, can't believe I couldn't remember half the ones from the eighties which I saw at the cinema but got all the seventies ones from repeats on the tv!!

I don't understand why Never Say Never Again is an unofficial part of the series. It's Sean Connery playing James Bond. It's official damn it! I say the Daniel Craig movies are unofficial!!

@KIngSlender Never Say Never is a remake of Thunderball. It was not originally a Fleming novel, but Fleming wrote it for the screen and the rights to it are not part of his estate (very Cliff notes version). So the company that owns the rights to that story remade Thunderball to compete with the cheesy Moore Bond films.

The instructions never said "official" James Bond licensed films, just James Bond movies. So any movie with James Bond in it (Never Say Never Again, original Casino Royale) should count. My 2 cents.

Great quiz! but 10 minutes to answer? that's a bit lenient! I think it's time for some tougher James Bond quizzes ... perhaps to do with the movie locations ... now that has me thinking.
