Great idea, very difficult, I really enjoyed it. Dirty pool, though, leaving off Griffey Jr's latest stint with the Mariners.

Scout_number_4, I kept the format the same for everyone, just wrote the teams not the stints. Otherwise it would have looked too messy. Other multiple stints: Sosa - Rangers, Rodriguez - Rangers, Griffey Sr. - Reds, Palmeiro - Orioles and Rangers, Eckersley - Red Sox, Morgan - Astros, McCovey - Giants, Sutton -Dodgers, McGee - Cardinals, Niekro - Braves, Blue - Giants, Staub - Mets. See, it's too much

Tough quiz, but a good one. One to add would be Mike Piazza's one week with the Marlins.

Would it be appropriate to add the Nationals to Rodriguez. He hasn't played for them yet technically, but he is still a member of that organization.

Why are the Rangers listed first for Sosa-that order is incorrect.

@roseymuskie, Sosa did start his career with the Rangers, look it up. @shanekelby, I'm not adding the Nationals to Pudge until he plays a regular season game with them.

It would've been hard if I actually had to know these (I only knew a few). As it was, there was enough time for me to get 22 by just copying and pasting in team names until I hit on the right player. I would've gotten more if I'd figured out right away that there weren't any repeats. Still, fun.

Do some research, you're missing some. Pudge Rodriguez is with the Nationals now, Damon is with the Tigers.

Damon still hasn't played a game with the Tigers and Pudge still hasn't played with the Nats, but, as the creator of this quiz, I am hoping that sporcle does add those teams when the regular season starts.

A quiz made up of current/recent players would be much more entertaining I think, but nice idea!

Great to see Griffey's picture on the front of this quiz. One of the prettiest swings in the game.

Very difficult quiz for a young person when, um, a few of these teams haven't existed in 40 years.

@woopee: I am a young person and was able to get 3 of the 4 teams that do not exist anymore. Baseball history is something that transcends your age and I am sure that many people here know quite a bit about baseball from before the year they were born. At minimum you should know Bouton's team, as he chronicled his time with them in his famous book Ball Four.

i think i would have enjoyed it more if you didnt purposefully leave out the least obvious answer. i am a pretty big baseball fan and i could get only a few by memory. maybe just random players with random teams left out would be more doable.
