	I am not sure that I agree with the idea that Russia, the Russian Empire, and the Soviet Union are not really all the same Empire. Yes, the ruling elite may have changed somewhat, but there isn't a significant disconnect between them. The same may be true of the various Chinese empires and the Caliphates but I freely admit that I don't know enough about Chinese history or the Caliphates to debate the subject.

	"Spanish" is still misspelled. And you may want to allow the answer "Third Reich" to count for the "Nazi Germany" answer. Since the quiz accepted just "Russia" for one answer, I didn't think I had to specify "Nazi" with "Germany." I did try "Third Reich," but it didn't accept it.

	there is also a difference between a country and an empire. There are already a couple largest empires quizzes. Countries are generally more closely organized around the center and not just occupied territories. Empires' territories can have significant autonomy and disconnect from the center. eg. The British Empire was not a different entity from the United Kingdom, there were just assorted territories under UK rule. Notice when France is included in modern country quizzes, French Guyana is included, but not the numerous other remnants of the French Empire

	The years for the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates and the Yuan Dynasty are wrong. How does the Ottoman Empire not make the list?

	Australia was bigger in 1974(for eg)than it is in 2011 as Papua New Guinea was a colony of Australia from after WWII until 1975 (in the same way Australia's states were colonies of the British Empire and thus contributing to its massive size.
