Belarus and Ukraine were surely part of 'Russia' at that time, so should be included if the definition is of 'modern countries'.
Alternatively, Croatia was surely part of 'Yugoslavia' at that time so shouldn't be there if you mean 'countries as they were in 1936-45'.
And the Indian forces (probably drawn from what is now Pakistan, India and Bangladesh) would be very miffed to be excluded. |
