| It appears that the website is doing its own ranking of best film franchises and is listing them by domestic gross, but is not using domestic gross as a factor in which franchises it believes are best. So Toy Story, Twilight, et al. are apparently not on its list of the best film franchises despite having domestic grosses far better than some on the list. As a side note, while the website lists domestic gross as $1,881 million (and so forth), it would be more correct to list it as $1.881 billion (and so forth) for the ones above a billion domestic gross. |
