In Iowa, We can be cold As our falling thermometers in December If you ask about our weather in July. And we're so by God stubborn We could stand touchin' noses For a week at a time And never see eye-to-eye.

@btroup1 & @eddddedddd: It's a joke I like to perpetuate: Where did you go to college? University of Iowa. Where's that? Iowa. What city? Iowa City.

The welcome sign for Iowa should read something like: "Welcome to Iowa. We were born here, what's your excuse?"

I think Ottumwa should be extra credit. Its population is just under 25,000 (24,998. But, more importantly, it's the home town of Corporal Radar O'Reilly from M*A*S*H.

Typo in the header. The plural of "city" needs to be defined so it doesn't say "citys".

Iowa is a good state to do this quiz for. It's a state where the largest city is not exceptionally large, and to do well you have to know a lot about cities all across the state. Unlike some states such as Minnesota where this quiz would mainly be the Twin Cities and its suburbs that aren't well known unless you live in the region, you go from one side of the state to the other to get all the right answers for Iowa.

If Ottumwa is that close to the cutoff line, it should be extended since most people probably guess it anyway.

Council Bluffs is located along the eastern bank of the Missouri River, its were Lewis & Clark met with council of the area Indian Tribes. I live in Iowa City (grad student at U of I) & I love it here! Unfortunately, I will have to leave the area for employment once I finish my degree. GOOOOOOOOOOO HAWYEYES!!!! Football team is currently 6-0
