Amazing that Eric Gagne led the Dodgers. This has to be the only time a relief pitcher did this.

gagne was a starter before he was a closer. Not a very good one, but he did start for a few years

Ryan Madson also made the list for the Phils although he started for a bit as well (damn... I remember those days). I feel so bad for the Padres - ADAM EATON!

I think I saw that. I believe that happened right after Bryce Harper got drafted and was automatically handed the MVP for the next 20 years.

I only got 87 but I play fantasy baseball so I should have done better (but I did have Vazquez, Lidge, Wainright and Maholm but I didn't spell them right so I would have had 92 but I still should have gotten more.

I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel for the '90's. Which would actually make it a prequel, I suppose.

You know you have had pitching woes when a dead guy, one who didn't even play 3 full seasons, shows up in your Top 5 anything.

If there was any consistency in the world, the comments would be littered with people complaining about the need for asterisks.

What surprises me is that the pitcher who was picked least is leading his team in strikeouts.

You could have handed me a list of every Ranger in the decade, and I still wouldn't have picked Joaquin Benoit.

55 I got the entire Pirates roster, and of course my Cubs along with the Marlins and the White Sox . I did not get a single Met, Dodger, or O. I missed all but one Yankee, and that guy was Orlando Hernandez, who I only got because of King Felix. Least-missed one I missed: Curt Schilling. I also missed Peavy and another handful of notables. Smoltz too. Most-missed one I got: Benson I also had fun doing Mulder, Zito, Hudson in quick succession.

142, I personally think Jason Frasor is the most difficult guy to come up with. A long tenured RP who's never had an exceptionally high K/9 ratio
