| This quiz must have been created with only official Billboard Hot 100 entries. The Hot 100 is a singles chart that combined the former charts of 'Best Sellers in Stores', 'Most Played by Jockeys', 'Most Played in Juke Boxes', and the 'Top 100' into one national popularity of songs chart. But if you look at the charts prior to the Hot 100, you would find that Ricky Nelson's first top 10 hit was the 1957 song "I'm Walkin'", a cover of the Fats Domino song (also a top 10 hit, but 2 months before Ricky Nelson's version). Ricky Nelson actually had 5 Billboard top 10 hits before the Hot 100 chart began on August 4, 1958.
