	Since river dolphins are thought to have developed from marine dolphins I was all set to make a comment about how the first river dolphin to make it to Nepal must have really had to work hard. But before I did that I looked up Nepal's elevation extremes assuming the dolphin had to at least climb (swim) to the lowest elevation in Nepal. It was then that discovered how geographically diverse Nepal is. From a low elevation of 328 ft. (on the Indo-Gangetic Plain) to 22,966 ft (summit of Mt. Everest). So it turns out that pioneering first river dolphin to reach Nepal didn't really have to work that hard after all ;-)

	Good animal choice! You could also include the Tucuxi, but all of those countries are already included in the boto's range. If you're going for alphabetical order, you've got a couple that are out of whack.

	@TreehuggnCowgirl: I actually did check about the Tucuxi, it turns out that it isn't considered a river dolphin because it is more similar to the marine cetaceans, so it's counted with them. I wasn't going for alphabetical by the way! But thanks!!

	I remmeber when the Baiji was declared extinct it was a pretty sad day. :(

	You could also include the Irrawaddy dolphin, although as with the tucuxi it is classified as a marine dolphin (though I've also seen it listed as a monodont, due to its similarities to the beluga. I'm not sure how widely accepted that is though.)

	Thanks for editor's pick, and to everyone for playing! @StupidBunny: the Irrawaddy is, as you correctly pointed out, classified as a marine dolphin. Weirdly enough it seems to be found more in brackish water near coasts, though also a few rivers. Apparently most are not even in the Irrawady but in Bangladesh, and it was first described from a specimen in India. Just randomly named I guess!
