A few problems with this one. 1)Judaism only has one 'd' 2)be consistent with the forms of the religions you accept. You shouldn't have hindu and sikhism, it should be hindu and sikh, or hinduism and sikhism. 3)accept just 'Penn' for the University of Pennsylvania 4)East Timor is no longer a country, you really can't have it. 5)don't require the plural form of the vegetables in V8 6)I really don't understand why you randomly decided to have the 1996 and 2003 NBA drafts, I'm not sure why those two specifically were chosen. But if you insist on having them, accept last names. 7)Accept 'US' of the United States and 'UK' for the United Kingdom

If it were Neilsbohrium, you have it spelled wrong. But isn't it Bohrium?
Nov 15th, 2009 at 04:11 GMT
you should accept "bahai" for "bahai world faith"
Nov 15th, 2009 at 06:01 GMT
Thank you for the input. Made some changes.
Nov 15th, 2009 at 21:04 GMT
There's no such element as Nielsbohrium.

Cindy Brady? You only have 7 members of the Brady Bunch listed.
Nov 16th, 2009 at 13:27 GMT
Should perhaps accept 'muslim' for islam.
Nov 16th, 2009 at 21:02 GMT
might need some alternates for the beatitudes. Specifically, 'those' as an alternative to 'they'. For instance I kept trying 'those who mourn' and couldn't figure out why it wasn't accepted. Otherwise, great quiz. I wanted to do this one, but only came up with 5 categories. Good job on being creative with them!
Nov 17th, 2009 at 06:43 GMT
There are only 7 types of intelligence listed.
Nov 20th, 2009 at 04:24 GMT
I kind of liked the Beatitudes category, but you need to accept other answers. How about accepting just "mourn", "hunger and thirst", etc. - without having to include the whole sentence? Then you avoid issues of which translation/version is used. It seemed to work for "poor in spirit" and "meek", but after I couldn't get mourn or hunger and thirst no matter how many ways I worded the sentence, I gave up on that category.

For the presidents, i think just picking the first eight is a bit of a cop-out--it could work for any quiz like this...and feffer is very right...needs lots of tweaking but good idea

Good comments so far, except for the one about East Timor. They're definitely still a country! They want to be called Timor-Leste, but that hasn't totally caught on.

Tried lots of ways to get the "those who suffer" beatitude. Never got there. Looks like I'm in good company!

Having a group of 7 on here absolutely takes away from it's credibility, I am not someone who at all minds having sports questions on quizzes when they fit but the NBA draft category seems very random and out of place, Ivory Coast seems to merit inclusion as a bonus answer and I was taught the scientific method as a 7 step process so unless things have changed I have to believe that this is nowhere near being standardized. Don't get me wrong, there is potential here, but revision is definitely required before I can give this a high rating.

Sound is mechanical/kinetic energy.

I don't get why the order of the planets is how it is.
May 2nd, 2010 at 02:20 GMT
So sad that there are only 8 planets :-( Also, I typed in observation and make an observation. I guess you wanted "make observations", but you should accept close alternatives. Good job though!!
May 2nd, 2010 at 03:06 GMT
It doesn't accept Broncos, only Denver Broncos. It accepts just the team name for all the others, so you might think about fixing that.
May 2nd, 2010 at 06:37 GMT
@mgrand, since when was East Timor no longer a country? I don't keep up on world news as much as I probably should so I honestly could have missed it, but a (very) quick internet search hasn't yielded anything regarding them losing their independence.

Where on earth did you get your info for the V-8 juice? There is no onion or garlic in it-- the other two ingredients should be lettuce and parsley. See the manufacturer's website for reference: http://www.v8juice.com/faq.aspx#juiceIncluded
May 3rd, 2010 at 09:36 GMT
HAHA. I totally didnt read that as "AFL" I was thinking "American Football" so was trying Frankford Yellowjackets, Decatur Staleys etc etc...Bleh.
May 3rd, 2010 at 13:15 GMT
Anything with Kirk Hinrich as an answer gets 5 stars from me!
May 3rd, 2010 at 19:34 GMT
I tried "verbal" and "mathematical" instead of "linguistic" and "logical-mathematical". I think they should be alternatives.
May 5th, 2010 at 22:51 GMT
Your quiz is crap!!!! Where do I start? V8-onions and garlic are not 2 of the eight vegetables replace them with the correct answers-lettuce and parsley. Parts of scientific method-gather info and make observation are the same step, conduct experiment and collect data are the same step. you missed publish results and retest. AFL teams-all answers were accepted as just team name, had to type entire "Denver Broncos" to be accepted. Be consistent. Types of intelligence-there are actually nine and you onoy have seven listed in a game about eights. You missed naturalist, existential, would not accept "Spatial" Types of energy-magnetic should be electromagnetic, heat should be thermal, you missed mechanical, sound is not a type of energy, you missed kinetic. Beautitudes-be consistent on what you will accept for answers. You need to remove this quiz until these corrections are made. VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION BEFORE POSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the "types of intelligence category" the bracket isn't closed after the word "number".
Jan 29th, 2011 at 17:55 GMT
The beatitudes is not a good one to have on here. I tried "those who mourn" and "mourners" and nothing came up as an answer. I also tried "hungry" and nothing happened. There's some that don't come up when typed. I tried "musical" and nothing appeared.

I think observation should be accepted in place of make observations
