Spectacular idea for a quiz- definitely worth a 5 rating and a nomination!

The only one that jumps out at me that's missing is Moonlighting, and that's one of the reasons I loved that show. I admit I'd never heard of Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

I'm not sure Boston Legal should count. There's a difference between making a "meta" joke about the show's cancellation and actually breaking the wall by looking at or talking to the audience.

I cringed when they used this on Seinfeld (episode: The Clip Show). I still can't decide if it was meant to parody the corniness of the act or if they were doing it for real.

I also got Neds. My kids watch that all the time. Surprised Amelie is as high up as it is. Thought that was more of an Indie movie.

I'm glad Wayne and Garth didn't sell out and include product placement in their movie. "Contract or no, I will not bow to any sponsor."

May I suggest taking a number of Muppet movies and shows, they break the 4th wall all the time, and you can't specifically tell thats the Muppet Movie from that shot.

I have never seen Hot Tub Time Machine, Craig Robinson (as depicted) also portrays Darryl Philbin on "The Office". The Office also breaks the fourth wall, and I felt slighted when it didn't count.

@SportsGuyLuke: The Office doesn't actually break the fourth wall. The context of the show is that a documentary is being filmed, so it's expected that the viewer exists in the same continuity/universe as the characters in the documentary.

"The Muppet Movie" was downright sneaky of you. just accept the Muppet Show. Also I don't recall them breaking the 4th wall in Boston Legal, can't say I saw every episode though.

I also would have included Eddie Murphy in "Trading Places" He didn't say anything when looking at the camera when The Dukes are explaining their work, but Belushi didn't say anything weither in Animal House. Still gave ya 5 Stars!

@LucasE: Thank you for the clarification. I don't know much about the fourth wall (only the note of the quiz and a wikipedia entry) and felt based on my minimal research that I was correct. I defer to your knowledge and appreciate your reply.

I immediately thought Saved by the Bell when I saw this. My favorite part of that show is Zack's time outs. I know you probably don't want to put too much John Hughes, but he used this all the time, (which was incidentally my favorite thing about his movies), so if you're looking for more just look there.

So The Office breaks the fourth wall in its own "universe" but not in reality? My head hurts.
