You're missing Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect from Gen V, which Wiki has strangely left off. Wiki might be waiting for them to be "officially" revealed by Nintendo.

you should also accept unown for 4th generation 'U' since they did release Unown ! and ? in that generation.

I think that maybe the unknown four gen. 4 should be a bonus answer, because the actual pokemon unknown was released bfore that.

This is such a great quiz idea! A good way to combine all 646 pokemon into a quiz since there can't be an actual quiz to name them all due to the 200 answer limit. I hope this one gets published.

So close Gen 2, just one letter away from having the whole alphabet under your belt.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no other pokemon after Gen. 1

i got all the first 3 generations but no matter how much i play white and try to remember the new names, the old ones are still the easiest.

This is rather nitpicky, but you don't need the ellipsis for ones that only have one answer. For instance, Unfezant is the only Pokemon in gen 5 to begin with a "U," so the ellipsis is erroneous.

It's very interesting that the original 151 are SO much more well-known, even after all these years. They're generally just better designed.

i don't really understand what the elipsis means. is that just to say we guessed wrong?

@MasterofBalance: The ellipsis is there to indicate that there are more Pokémon whose names start with that letter. Of course, any Pokémon starting with a certain letter will count as a right answer, but the answer box displays only one because it looks nicer and makes the quiz more player-friendly.

sarah_barber: Like it or not, there is. There are 649 Pokémon now, and all of them are just as "real" "official". PurpleMonkey: Voltorb, Exeggcute, Mr. Mime, Dugtrio+Magneton, Grimer. Also, probably has more to do with more people only being interested when only the first gen was out

@Davidos: Personally, I think the fifth generation are the easiest to remember. But that's just me. I do agree with you that 1st gen is still the best @Chaletica: Way to go!!!!!

i despise the 5th gen pokemon. although in the fisrt gen we had things like magnemite and diglett, the new ones are mostly digimon, copies of the old pokemon and ice creams
