| Good concept, but I'd much prefer a version that included the classic series. For starters, The Chase (eighth serial of the original second season) included the first time we saw Shakespeare in Doctor Who, along with Abraham Lincoln and the Beatles. Previously, there had been appeareances by Marco Polo, Kublai Khan, Robespierre, Nero, Richard Lionheart, and Saladin. There are far more historical character appearances in the First Doctor years than any other era, but I still feel it's worth exploring. Of course, if you're not up to it, I'd be delighted to put it together myself. |
