Great quiz. Santa Ana, El Salvador and Tripoli, Lebanon just miss the cut...

How about Kingston? Kingston, Jamaica has a population of 651,800 according to wikipedia and Kingston Upon Hull, UK has a population of 258,700. Maybe a bonus answer if it doesn't count due to being more commonly know as Hull?

i was thinking kingston as well. Kingston upon Hull is just a clarification, like saying atlanta, georgia or newcastle-upon-tyne.

I was surprised not to see Toledo on this list, and was surprised at how the one in Spain has just over 80,000 people.

Edited to correct an oversight and add some bonuses for near misses. @rhebus: La Paz, Mexico has a population of 178,476. Los Reyes, Mexico has a population of 298,862, and has La Paz listed as a name variant. I can understand the confusion.

Decent quiz. One thing though, Victoria (Canada) has well under 100,000 people. Its metro is about 330k.

Great quiz. I'd like to see a sequel with the top 100 or so.
