How is cubone based on a cube? The 'cu' is for 'cute' or 'cub' if anything.
It's spelt Onyx
Is there really any point for Diglett/Dugtrio/Geodude/Graveler/Golem/Sandshrew/Sandslash? They're pretty much the most boring pokémon you could have chosen for this quiz.
Nidoran is actually a japanese name that was kept in the English version. It comes from 'ni' meaning two (or 'nido' meaning two times) referring to there being two types of nidoran, and 'ran' which is a reference to their colours (translating as orchid).
I'm not sure about 'Gengar' either since doppelganger isn't pronounced nearly the same... and Gengar isn't remote like a doppelganger. The danish word 'genganger' roughly means 'ghost' and is much closer. Gengar was also a japanese name brought over, where 'gen' can mean phantom.Good idea for a quiz, but not sure it's completely correct? :S

The Alligator Gar, Gator Gar, or Atractosteus spatula, is a primitive ray-finned fish could be used for Gengar. I also agree with Matty.

I think "Geodude" comes from "Geode", the type of rock, not "Geo" meaning earth.

To have Golem on there is kinda pointless... like having Gloom or Persian. :
