| misfit23: Good question. Nemesis (Tom Tresser) is indeed a major supporting character in the Wonder Woman comics these days. But there are two reasons he is not included on this quiz. First of all, he has appeared in only about 100 comics, far fewer than the 200+ appearances made by characters actually included in the quiz. Second (and perhaps more importantly), Tresser isn't just a supporting character, he has been an outright "hero" by virtue of the fact that he has headlined his own series (a regular back-up feature in Brave and the Bold), he has a codename (Nemesis), a costume, etc. He's even been a member of the Suicide Squad. These days, he doesn't necessarily function as a "super-hero" per se, but I'm not sure I see him primarily as a "supporting character" and not a "hero." |
