I highly recommend you follow the link to the larger picture listed at the top because a lot of the objects are very hard to see in the smaller picture. Shout-out to Ellix for doing this first. You can play that one here: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Ellix/lookalikes

Also, I've tried to include as many alternate answers as I could think of, but I may have missed a few, and some of the objects don't have obvious names, so please let me know if I've left any alternates out.

Ah, yes, I remember looking at these types of pics when I was younger! I love these pics! Anyways, "chessboard" should be an acceptable answer for "checkerboard".

Interesting quiz! Isn't that table behind the "vacuum cleaners" an hourglass? At least I don't think that worked.

Chessboard now works for checkerboard and hourglass (and all permutations thereof) works for what I had labeled as "egg timer".

I would suggest having your "Source" link be the link to the larger, higher resolution pic (which as you say makes it a lot easier). You can put the Amazon link in the game note. Very fun, and really nice work in accepting alternate names for things.

Thanks so much for the editor pick druhutch! I made the changes you suggested, so the larger image is now available via the source link.

some possible alternates: i tried "stirrer" for the swizzle stick, "mint" for the peppermint candy, and "tube" for the tube of paint. (i know that last is a perhaps a bit vague, but the angle isn't really clear that it's paint versus, say, superglue.)

Please accept luggage tag. Right now it's only taking luggage tags.

@courtneyyy and @trivial I added all of your suggestions. I've tried to include both plural and singular answers for every object that appears multiple times, but as with the luggage tags, I may have forgotten to add the singular answer, so if anyone else finds a plural-only answer that should have a corresponding singular, let me know.
