Nice! Time is a bit too long, and DRC should be accepted for Dem. Rep. of the Congo.

Alright, I've made a couple changes. Thanks for the input.

As both the population and area quizzes were top 25, I had unproportionally big problems with the last ones. Thanks for making me think.

Pretty good, but I wish it would be easier to guess what you had in mind for spelling when it comes to DRC.

Like this quiz- no European countries.
| hscer: | Oct 1st, 2009 at 16:18 GMT | | 2 points |
@eurythmech: Good point. I had Congo set as an alternate answer, and then I added DRC upon nsd354's request. Now I've added the full name.

Nice quiz.

I believe Sudan is missing (#10 in area, #29 in population). Couldn't believe Argentina wasn't on the list, but see that it's #31 in population. So close. Also just missing in Tanzania (#30 in population, but #31 in area!)

Oh crud, you're right. Thanks for the catch though. And unfortunately, nobody's gotten all 14 now. My bad.

Love this quiz, only thing is it needs to accept USA (like other sporcle quizzes.)
| hscer: | Oct 2nd, 2009 at 20:23 GMT | | 1 point |
I had it set to accept just "us" instead. Sometimes typing too fast causes an answer not to register, so that might have occurred. But I now have it set to accept "usa" as well.

Got them all, but I was a bit surprised at no Pakistan (36th in area)

Very good quiz with enough twists to keep one thinking-- or me, at least. Re: the 2 Congos-- there is no uniformity on sporcle abt this, but I'd love to be able to type DRC & have it count every time it's used!

I'm also shocked no Argentina...I almost said Colombia but didn't :( good quiz though

I think Sporcle convention is only to accept USA, and not US. But really interesting quiz.

Nice quiz, gets you thinking. I missed ethiopia. I was about to type it but thought 'nahh, probably not high enough population.' xD

According to wikipedia, Australia, though ~6th in area, is 51st in population. PS I thought this was a fantastic quiz.

I wondered how Nigeria is not there; probably not much smaller than Egypt though.
| Lepi: | May 11th, 2010 at 08:03 GMT | | 12 points |
this was a lot of fun, having to think of two factors instead of just randomly typing in countries
| performax: | May 11th, 2010 at 11:33 GMT | | 26 points |
Really enjoyed this quiz. It helps you look at the countries of the world from still another perspective. Don't want to ruin any Sporclers' day, but this site isn't just about procrastinating or not doing your work. You can't help but learn lots of interesting and cool things.

| Tirion: | May 11th, 2010 at 13:05 GMT | | 6 points |
@Tir_McDohl You answered that yourself. Nigeria is smaller (not by much, but it is smaller) than Egypt and Egypt is ranked 30th in the area ranking.
