| @Giggity1, you would be correct. @the others, as for the validity of the rankings, you'd find similar ones on baseball-reference.com. The people who come up with stats like WAR find references to stats such as RBI as useless. Actually, I somewhat see the point against RBI -- if you have players batting ahead of you who get on base 30% of the time, you probably won't get as many RBI as you would if those players got on base 35 or 40% of the time. I'm not a sabergeek, but I don't mind the players on this list, even if some, yes, are a bit odd. |
