	JaguarGator9: The Bullets/Wizards franchise actually started in Chicago as the Chicago Packers (How did Bears fans feel about this?) in 1961. They then became the Chicago Zephyrs the next year, and the year after that they moved to Baltimore to become the Bullets until they became the Washington Bullets in 1974 (after a year as the Capital Bullets).

	For those who don't know, the Rochester Royals became the Sacramento Kings after a stop off in Kansas City (quite a few modern team names are the byproduct of lazily recycling old team names in the city for a different sport).

	"Detroit Pistons" and "Cincinnati Royals" should be allowed as optional answers for "Fort Wayne Pistons" and "Rochester Royals" since both of those franchises relocated before the 1957-58 season. It's not that big of a deal though. Great quiz!

	what impresses me most about this quiz is its originality. there are a lot of sporlce quizzes out there that are kind of derivative (like name all the teams that don't have the letter A in them - big deal). this one has historical significance. it is challenging and fair.

	@BlaCkhaWkDOwn17...the choice of year is not random at all. 1957 was right before the Dodgers and Giants moved west, shortly before the original Senators moved to Minnesota (to become the Twins) and the Braves moved to Atlanta, and was shortly before all four of the leagues began to expand. So 1957 was the most recent year hscer could pick and still have the makeup of the four leagues look as different as possible from the way they look today. No doubt the year was deliberately chosen for that reason.

	The Washington Senators actually moved twice. In '60 the franchise moved to Minneapolis to become the Twins, and DC was given an new expansion team, also called the Senators. That team then moved to Arlington in '72 to become the Rangers. Also, there was an NBA team called the Bullets in Baltimore in the 50s, but turns out they folded in '54, and the name resurfaced in '63 - which is the same franchise that currently plays in Washington
