Really great idea for a quiz, loved it. However, the Texans have also never had consecutive winning seasons.

Good point, I've made the hint a little more specific. I'm glad people are enjoying this one so far.

Nice fix. If this quiz goes public I'm sure that comment will get voted down because people will think I just didn't read the clue carefully enough!

How about the Toronto Maple Leafs who tied then twice broke fewest shots on goal in a playoff game -
in the same playoff game
!
Two shots on goal in the first, one in the second and none in the third.

This is a great idea for a quiz. Surprised more people don't know Prairie View. It's a famous (and awful) stat.

Well, Prairie View is something you either know or will never guess. It's such an obscure school. The others are at least possible to guess the right team if you know something about professional sports.

Got all but the Pats. I was thinking the Cowboys, but their 1-15 season was a bit earlier, I believe. The Pirates last winning season was 1992, so their streak started in 1993. They won the division in 1991 and 1992 and lost in the NLCS to the Braves both years.

The Pirates actually started their streak after '92. They were actually in the playoffs in 1992.

Yeah the Cowboys were 1-15 in 1989; they were outscored by 189. The 17 years for Pittsburgh includes the 2009 season.

Well this was great! I was suprised there aren't a lot more Clevland answers (no championships in the entire city since the Browns in '64 and the Indians in '48)

The Falcons had a winning season last year and are 2-0 to start this season. This could be their year to finally get that monkey off their back.

Baltimore Orioles 0-21 to start the 1988 season is one you can use. great quiz got all but Prairie View.

A CLEVELAND SPIDERS CLUE! YES! Automatic 5/5. I'd suggest a more specific clue for the NCAAB question- years, or a coach, or something of that ilk.

This is more about season stats but if not here then maybe for another quiz: least points scored in an NBA game, and most lopsided loss for each league (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL). The NFL record is of the 1940 championship game; you can go for the biggest SB loss instead.

@hscer: http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/PIT/ As you can see, the Pirates finished 96-66 in 1992. If you included the 2009 season, that would be 18 years according to your logic.

I like sport quizzes much, but there's too much baseball questions in these quizzes. Baseball is boring game that any +60IQed person wont watch. I have never watched a single MLB game. I've never even played baseball. Only situation when I hold baseball bat in my hands is when I'm going to beat some immigrants. sry for a bad english.
