I like how you gave PPG/RPG/APG figures rather than something like position or teams. The stats give you something to think about but don't give it away. (and I know you don't have anything to do with the percentages, but I'm really curious about what alternate universe exists where Oscar Robertson or Tim Duncan never make the HOF)

Great quiz. Some of this surprises me. For example (SPOILERS), Duncan isn't 100% and Kobe is. hmm.

You're right KLKLK, Kobe is a way better shooting guard than Duncan ever was.

I'll bet Calvin Murphy is glad HOF voters don't use these same metrics.

Now, I'm no sport expert, but it seems to me that for everyone in the Basketball Hall of Fame, the possibility of being in the Hall of Fame is 100%.
So what am I missing? Why are some legends listed but other not?

@actwentysix You know who's going to be real glad too is Reggie Miller (5.53%).
@rockgolf Check out the source link if you are so inclined, as you will find out there what I'm going for here.

You could probably shorten the time by a minute (at least). These are all pretty famous names.

a little surprised that Stockton didn't make the list, considering that he is SOOOO far ahead of anyone with assists and steals for his career. Do you think that championships were used in the formula? That would hinder stockton, malone, kidd, robertson (I don't think he ever won a championship)...

Nice quiz! I actually like that the formula for predicting such things uses height, not steals. It is a true predictor of who will get in, not who should get in. Also, @spyroninja, Duncan is a nice bonus answer at 99.99%. One more ring ought to raise him to 100%.

one more ring...Duncan has four lol. Just doesnt have the star power as these 100 percent players.

great quiz though...I got 15 out of 13 because I guess Oscar Robertson and Karl Malone as well.

15 out of 13? I should have gotten them all, but I must have spelled pettit incorrectly because I tried him.

@thejoker15, I suppose the fact that no one has averaged a career triple double might have something to do with it.

@thejoker15, after a_labeck101's snarky comment, a little research shows Robertson's career averages are 25.7/9.5/7.5. I always thought he averaged a triple double as well.

im quite positive if someone averaged a triple double for their career, they would be the best player of all time

if you average out Oscar Robertson's first five seasons, it's a triple double lol

Oscar Robertson is the only player to have averaged a triple double for an entire season, not career.

Bob Pettit over Duncan? I have great respect for Pettit though. I understand that it is hard to compare players how played decades apart, but Pettit dominated in a smaller NBA league, where players were not as strong and athletic. Duncan managed to win four championships and average a double-double in his first thirteen seasons. I believe Pettit was extraordinary, but the better power forward seems like Tim Duncan.

Great quiz- just needs to be updated because Shaq retired (instead of 1992-present, it should now say 1992-2011).

Tim Duncan has a 00.01% chance of NOT making the HOF....if he becomes a terrorist, convicted rapist or is found to have bet on or fixed NBA games.

Great quiz (though, like the others have said, Shaq is now retired...). 13/13. Inspired me to put a similar one together for the most likely current players to make the Hall of Fame (http://www.sporcle.com/games/Maritimer/highest-nba-hall-of-fame-probability-active-players).

For those interested, I'm pretty sure the formula only takes into account PPG, RPG, APG, All-Star selections, championships, and height. So factors like Stockton's steals total (and Scalabrine's hair colour) don't help.
