	WestSideDrew: In the off chance that you're being serious and not trolling, I'm going to take the time to explain a few things to you regarding soccer, the MLS, and North America. I’ll even go ahead and break it down for you in a series of points. Point 1 (and this is most important): notice that the title of the quiz includes "Big 4 Sports." Everyone knows this refers to MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA. Those are the big 4. Even if another pro sports league eventually overtook one of those leagues in popularity, those would most likely still be referred to as "The Big 4." Thus, MLS shouldn't have even entered your mind.

	Point 2: It's not a question of accepting soccer's status as a major league sport. Obviously in many parts of the world soccer is the most major sport. In North America it's not major in any way. The MLS doesn't move the needle an inch on this continent. The Arena League is arguably bigger even during seasons when it's shut down. Certainly the WNBA's “popularity” is on par with the MLS.

	To continue, WestSideDrew, It's not just that no one cares about the MLS or knows anything about it; it's also the fact that it's a substandard league even within its own sport. This leads us to Point 3: Everyone realizes that the MLS is not where you go to find the best professional soccer. It's like the Korean Basketball Association of soccer.

	Now, WestSideDrew, we get to Point 4: The MLS is never going to make it if they continue to insist on aping club soccer from Europe and elsewhere. For example: Real Salt Lake. That ain't gonna make it. Mormons don't care about soccer as it is. But then you try and pull some stuff like "Real" and it's a miracle that club hasn't folded. Naming an MLS team from Utah "Real" is the equivalent of those stupid tee-shirts that say "U of Generic College Athletics Est. 1889." It's fugazi and anyone can see it. Same goes for DC United. Nobody talks like that in North America, including 5 foot 7 guys named Ethan who play soccer. Same goes for using jargon like "pitch" instead of field, "kit" instead of uniform or jersey, "match" instead of game, and worst of all "fixture" instead of future matchup. To make a long story short, not only would MLS teams never be accepted or expected as answers in a Big 4 quiz, it wouldn't make any sense for the quiz's creator to include MLS teams as bonuses because it's simply not something that anyone would ever guess.
