Actually, Gorgon would be the proper answer to Woman+Snake, as that's the name of the species. Both Medusa and Echidna were specific individuals of said species.

Good quiz. The manticore is man, lion, and scorpion. Isn't a hippogriff just an eagle and horse? Look at Buckbeak from Harry Potter.

hippogriff = griffin = lion + eagle, I don't get why you all think that it's eagle + horse, and even owl, makes no sense.
